The week from 20th to 24th November 2017 saw the annual joint evaluation mission of DP funded projects in LGs.  Delegates from LODA, KfW, BTC & Netherlands traversed the Districts of Bugesera, Burera, Gakenke, Muhanga, Rubavu, Rwamagana, Kirehe, Ngoma, Gisagara and Nyamagabe to witness the status of completed and on-going infrastructures built between 2015/2016 and 2016/2017. These include feeder roads, modern markets, schools, health centres, public lighting, IDP model villages, Integrated Handcraft Centres, and water supply pipelines. In addition to the site visit, planning, procurement and financial compliance processes from national to District level were kept at glance and explained to DPs. This monitoring exercise is expected to be followed by an interactive workshop gathering the Districts, LODA and DPs to exchange on lessons learned and key recommendations to address underlying issues.
